Santa Cruz- festival and  events

  The church was built in 1546 and its feast is held on 3rd May which is the main village festival. The villagers also celebrate the harvest festival with great pomp.The Hindus celebrate the Palki festival and also celebrate festivals such as Diwali and Shigmo

Of people all from different religion and different parts. It is mostly famous for fast food Gades of cutlet pao, Sharma's, rass omlet  etc.

Divar island is also famous for its festivals.
One of the biggest monsoon festival on Divar island is Bonderam.It is a Festival of flags,Floats,Dances and at night Band,DJs.
It is a happening festival celebrated on a grand scale on the island of Divar,where a huge number of people all over the Goa Come too see Bonderam on a small island.
